Personal Injury Mediation Course
MDS will be offering a personal injury mediation course to take place early in 2008, the course outline and fee structure are set out below. Our courses cater for small groups of people and are modular in nature, so are appropriate for individuals interested in incorporating mediation skills into their current professional roles as well as those seeking full accreditation.

Day 1
See attached. A stand-alone taster course for those who are within various fields with an interest in a very short, but useful insight into this area of mediation.
Day 2
Common clinical conditions and injuries; common medical terminology. NHS structure. Specific focus groups subject to demand eg occupational hazards, local authority (slipping/tripping), clinical+/- dental negligence, road traffic accidents.
Day 3
Case studies and more role play exercises relevant to focus groups.
